BODY-Q-7D Construct Validity Publication

BODY-Q-7D is a new seven-question tool that better captures how obesity and weight loss affect people’s lives, including self-esteem, mental health, stigma, body image, and excess skin—areas often missed by existing measures. The next step is to assign health utility values so it can be used to evaluate the benefits of obesity treatments in healthcare decision-making.
